Jack Wills is an accomplished investment professional with a proven track record in real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, and asset optimization. Prior to joining Dornin Investment Group, Jack managed diversified value-add funds and separate accounts totaling over $10 billion in gross asset value, and played a key role in executing more than $1.7 billion in acquisitions and dispositions across multifamily, office, industrial, and hospitality sectors.
Jack’s career spans leading roles at CBRE Investment Management, where Jack supported two active funds with $4.5 billion in equity commitments and developed dynamic portfolio models integrating Argus, Yardi, and Python for enhanced forecasting and decision-making. Jack also managed eight separate accounts totaling over $3 billion in assets, serving as the main point of contact for clients and spearheading ESG initiatives, including LEED® certifications and decarbonization audits.
Earlier in Jack’s career, Jack held analyst and intern positions at Link Logistics Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield, gaining hands-on experience in asset management, investment analysis, and transaction execution. Jack’s expertise includes sourcing, underwriting, and closing complex transactions, developing advanced financial models, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and investors.
A California native, Jack grew up in Laguna Beach—where Dornin Investment Group is headquartered—and graduated Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a concentration in Real Estate Finance, and a minor in Real Property Development. Jack holds an Argus Certificate and is a licensed CalDRE Salesperson.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys golfing and surfing along the Southern California coast.
