VP of Design & Development

John Best is the Vice President of Design and Development at DIG (Dornin Investment Group) and has been with the company since 2015. With a keen eye for design and a passion for development, John works closely with all members of the DIG team to ensure that our design directives and development projects are executed flawlessly.

John diligently coordinates the efforts of architects, engineers, designers, and consultants to bring the project vision to life. Whether it’s orchestrating the collaboration on larger projects or utilizing his extensive design training and experience to swiftly create TestFits for potential tenants.

Additionally, John is known for his ability to produce custom design plans for CapEx projects across our portfolio with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. John prides himself on combining creativity and practicality to create innovative solutions that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of DIGs properties.

John spearheads the development of corporate relationships with material vendors and representatives. This involves identifying top-quality suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless integration of their products into our projects. By fostering these partnerships, we are able to deliver exceptional results that exceed our clients’ expectations.

Driven by his commitment to excellence, John is constantly seeking ways to optimize the design and development processes. He stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that our projects are at the forefront of innovation.

John received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Science in Comprehensive Medical Imaging (CT/MRI) with a minor in Psychology and Advanced Professional Certification in Diagnostic Radiology all from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In his free time John is an avid collector of books and an enthusiastic traveler who enjoys exploring the world through art, architecture and food having visited 20 countries to date.
