DIG acquired the mezzanine loan on First Citizens Bank Plaza for $18.26M in December 2021, secured by a 23‑story, 478,168 SF Class A office tower and 711‑space parking deck in Charlotte’s CBD. Built in 1986 and renovated in 2002/2018, the property is leased to tenants including First Citizens Bank, IWG, TEKSystems, and Stepstone. After taking control of the borrower entity in April 2023, the mezz loan was converted to equity and the senior debt restructured.
