Royal Oaks was an opportunistic purchase of a high quality 122 senior housing apartment project. The seller was experiencing health issues and needed a quick close and certainty of execution. The age restricted property represented quality investment in senior living space as demand continued to grow with the Baby Boomer generation entering retirement.
DIG acquired the property with a Fannie Mae loan and managed the property until it was sold in November of 2013.
